There are many ways you can contribute to our cause.
Volunteers and donations are vital in the operations of Bandit Ranch Rehab. The time that you give, the
food and supplies that you provide, and the money you donate help us support sick, injured, and
orphaned raccoons through their journey of recovery.
Spread the word
We need you to help us spread the word about Bandit Ranch Rehab and the work we do. We are no
ordinary wildlife rehabilitation centre, we specialize in rehabilitating orphaned baby raccoons and
release them back into the wild, away from all the human activities to reduce human-wildlife conflict.
To make it easier for you to share our stories with family and friends, we have set up Facebook and
Instagram, so with a touch of a button you can let the world know about Bandit Ranch Rehab and the
importance of wildlife rehabilitation. Also, we love keeping in touch with our community through our
social media channels, so come join the conversation on all things raccoon!
Volunteer at our facility
We always need extra helping hands especially during the breeding season. We need volunteers to help
feed the baby raccoons. In rare occasions, volunteers may assist in cueing the baby raccoons to use the
bathroom. We also welcome volunteers to assist us in tidying and maintaining the shelters, organizing
and participating in fundraising events, and many more activities.
We will provide you with the necessary tools, so you only need to show up in some old, comfortable
clothing that you do not mind to get dirty in.
Donate Food
We work hard to ensure that the raccoons are getting enough nutrients to grow so they can survive the
harsh, wild environment. Raccoons love to eat almost anything, and they especially love grapes and
chicken. In the past, we have generous donors who provided the raccoons with puppy chow, roast
chickens, grapes and fruits, and even live fishes. The variety of food that we received allowed us to teach
the raccoons how to forage for food in different settings, and we hope to keep it up, so we appreciate
food donation just as much.
Provide supplies, necessities and materials
To provide the raccoons with an environment that is as close to the wild as possible, we use hays and
straws to mimic the grasses, and we make hammocks for the raccoons to use as beds. We also craft
wooden posts for the raccoons to climb on. Therefore, we gladly accept any unused straws and other
supplies or materials that you no longer use or need.
Donate
Your contribution will provide medical care, comfortable enclosures, and nutritious food for raccoons
that we come across every year. Very often the baby raccoons arrive in a fragile state. Some are in pain
and suffering hypothermia, most are dehydrated and starving, and all are frightened. It is you, the
compassionate donor, who keep our operations possible. With your generous donations, we can
provide everything necessary for the raccoons to recover and become strong enough to be released
back into the wild, away from the dangerous urban cities where most of injured raccoons were found.
